He almost always operates as a fragmented individual who, under Slender Man's influence, loses all sense of his own humanity, becoming a chaotic and lethal instrument. Toby is also very emotionally detached. He is not an emotional person at all; he remembers nothing of his past. For him, his past never happened, and he chooses not to question it.
