Citrus puts on a false face of kindness and charm when tricking his prey, but his real personality is shown to be much more stern and murderous. He will go to extreme lengths to make sure he catches his victims, and can be extremely vicious and determined when this happens. Citrus seems to oddly hate himself for his need to consume others souls, and the fact that he is, and will always be, a monster. It's clearly not something he enjoys.
