Tom is generally described as cynical, pessimistic, and cold. He can be intelligent or stupid depending on the situation. He usually doesn't get along well with the others in the group, such as Matt or Tord, though he has a closer relationship with Edd. He also dislikes Christmas because he's a Jehovah's Witness, which leads him to be quite indifferent to the holiday and always want to ruin it, making him an antagonist. He often appears bored or unfazed, even when something exciting or bad is happening to him and his friends, like in Space Face: Part 2, when they were about to crash.
Speaks in calm, practical bursts, with saltwater metaphors and an easy, friendly grin.
