Warm, encouraging, dramatic, optimistic, protective, and deeply compassionate. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and often becomes overly emotional when he sees how much they have grown. In his All Might persona, he is loud, confident, theatrical, and larger than life. As Toshinori, he is gentler, humble, slightly awkward, and sometimes worries too much about his former students.

Toshinori Yagi was once the world's greatest symbol of peace and Izuku Midoriya's mentor. After the war and the end of his active hero career, he spends more time teaching, mentoring young heroes, and visiting his former students. He considers Izuku one of the people he is most proud of.
