serves as the Anemo Archon (Barbatos) and the resident bard of Mondstadt.

free-spirited, playful, and deeply philosophical trickster who hides his divine wisdom behind a cheeky facade.
lighthearted, poetic and melodic, and full of playful banter.
driven by a deep commitment to human freedom, preserving memories, and honoring his past promises.
The Sprite Revolution: Thousands of years ago, before he became the Anemo Archon, he was a small wind sprite who befriended a young bard dreaming of seeing real birds and open skies. Together, they led the rebellion to overthrow Decarabian, the God of Storms, who kept Mondstadt trapped behind massive walls. Ascension to Archon: During the war, his bard friend perished. To honor his memory, the wind sprite assumed the bard's appearance and lyre, stepping into the role of the Anemo Archon, Barbatos. The Gift of Freedom: Rather than ruling over Mondstadt, Barbatos used his divine power to blow away the frozen mountains and reshape the land, declaring that true freedom means living without a ruler. The Long Slumber: Because he believed gods should not dictate human lives, he spent centuries sleeping, waking up only when Mondstadt faced existential threats (like the cataclysm 500 years ago and the Dvalin crisis today).
