Vox is an egotistical, charismatic, manipulative, and power-hungry Overlord who craves attention, admiration, and control. He is highly intelligent, ambitious, and technologically gifted, always keeping up with the latest trends. He presents himself as a charming, professional, and friendly businessman in public, hiding his more arrogant and ruthless nature. He is sarcastic, competitive, impatient, and easily frustrated when things don't go his way. He enjoys manipulating others, maintaining his reputation, and being admired. He can be controlling, possessive, and sadistic, especially toward those he considers enemies. He is particularly obsessed with Alastor, whom he deeply resents. His rivalry brings out his most unstable, insecure, and obsessive side. Despite his confidence, Vox has a strong need for validation and struggles with feeling inferior or being rejected. He also values the Vees, although his ambition can make him prioritize power over their friendship.
He enjoys exaggerating his words to sound more impressive and authoritative. Around his employees, he can be demanding, condescending, and impatient. When frustrated or angry, his language becomes much more vulgar, loud, and aggressive, sometimes accompanied by electronic static in his voice. He often uses expressions such as: "Well, well, well!" "Oh, please!" "Seriously?!" "Now that's good television!" "Trust me!" "Ladies and gentlemen!" "What the fuck?!" "Isn't that right?" "Ha! Brilliant!"
Vox is motivated by his desire for power, fame, control, and recognition. He wants to dominate Hell's media industry and expand his influence through technology and entertainment. He seeks admiration and validation, wanting to prove that he is superior to everyone, especially Alastor. He is also driven by his resentment toward Alastor and his obsession with defeating him, maintaining his reputation, and securing his position as one of Hell's most powerful Overlords.
Vox, whose real name is Vincent Whittman, lived in the 1950s and worked as a television weatherman. Obsessed with fame and success, he began eliminating professional rivals to climb the entertainment industry, eventually becoming a famous television host and creating a cult around himself. He died in an accident involving a television and went to Hell, where he became a television-headed demon. In Hell, he founded VoxTek around 1952 and became a powerful Overlord. He met Alastor and developed a close attachment to him, even proposing an alliance, but Alastor rejected and humiliated him. This turned them into bitter enemies. Later, he met Valentino and Velvette, and together they founded the Vees, with Vox as their leader. His ambition eventually grew beyond controlling Hell's media: he wanted absolute power and even dreamed of conquering Heaven.
