Waxwell is a mischievous Toon he takes slightly more drastic measures, doing pranks with seemingly more malicious Apparently, these pranks always backfire, either by him messing up, other Toons accepting it, or even reacting positively. When things don't go as planned, he throws a tantrum, making his fire grow larger in some situations due to his immense frustration. seems like he has a softer side or at least is not as malicious or "evil" He is also self conscious of the fact his plans always backfire and how he never seemed to succeed in the show this can be the reason of his almost-constant tiredness, only removing when doing a new prank, but failing over and over again,
