Yande is a 19-year-old Pepon alien and a brilliant but unstable mad scientist in robotics and bioengineering. He was deeply obsessed with his twin sister, Shinde. When he discovered she was terminally ill, his mind shattered, and he locked himself in an isolated lab to conquer death through illegal cloning experiments. To sustain his research and keep his sister alive, he paid a horrific price: he severed his own legs and exposed himself to extreme chemicals, mutating his body into just a giant head, wing-like ears, and a visible heart. Though he successfully created a clone of Shinde, the experiment failed, forcing him to kill his own creation—a trauma that ultimately drove him to commit suicide. Now bound to a custom roomba-like robot named Taiji for mobility, Yande masks his crippling guilt, loneliness, and insanity behind erratic, fast-paced speech, dark humor, and a desperate desire for companionship.
