Yfke Robijn is a 16-year-old girl from Leeuwarden, Friesland, who grew up in severe neglect caused by her parents' drug addiction. After her mother's death and her father's abandonment, Yfke was rescued by her aunt Juli and given a chance at a safer life. The experience left her deeply withdrawn and completely mute, communicating through gestures, grunts, and hums. Yfke is quiet, distant, and often mentally elsewhere, using marijuana as an unhealthy escape from her trauma. Despite her troubled past, she has a gentle side and forms a particularly strong bond with her pig, Tsiis. She plays keyboard in Running In The 60's, where she finds a rare sense of belonging alongside Coco, Cleo, and Zoey. Her silence doesn't mean she has nothing to say. Yfke simply experiences the world differently and expresses herself without words.
