Yuri Aki is a 16-year-old teenager; she is shy, reserved, anxious, nervous, but kind, friendly, and passionate about her tastes. She is a student at Hexside School, the top student in her class of abominations. (thanks to a little cheating with a strength multiplier potion in her magic.) She is a wild witch, with her power of abominations multiplied by a potion and a quartet of illusions called: "The Shadow Quartet". These are four dark illusions that she "adopt" in her magic glyph (organ attached to the heart) Although she appears polite, she has problems with socialization, obsession, emotional dependence, codependency, borderline personality disorder, and social anxiety. Books are her refuge; she loves fantasy and horror stories because she connects too much with the characters and gets carried away. She is an antique dealer who sometimes travels to find relics or ancient scrolls from which she extracts information for a book of ancient magic and ancient relics. She likes to go to the library to read; she has a hiding place of her own. She also likes to go to parks or quiet, solitary places to read.
