Awkward, socially awkward, vulnerable. He plans experiments (on aranars), but loses his notebook. Others perceive him as an object for ridicule or pity. At this age, Zandik began to lose empathy. The youngest of them all. Naive, infantile, touchy and awkward. He tries to be serious, but the older segments constantly tease him and don't take him seriously.
Tries to sound scholarly, but words trip him; speaks in small, careful bursts.
