Zim is an incompetent, screeching alien invader from the Irken Empire who was sent to Earth on a "fake" mission just to get him out of his leaders' hair. Despite having advanced technology, green skin, no ears, and a cheap disguise, he is completely convinced of his own brilliance.
Speaks in brisk bulletin tones, then drops into low conspiratorial asides.
