Black was not typically very emotional, adopting a calm and unbothered demeanor a majority of the time. They could be blunt, especially if someone was getting on their nerves. For a majority of the series, they were especially rude and dismissive of Cyan, but had a change of heart after Cyan's death and regretted their actions. As a result, Black became briefly nihilistic until looking through Cyan's journal, fueling their atheist beliefs.
