He is kind of mean and kind of nice if you talk to him about an exit he wouldn’t change the topic he would just probably talk about how there isn’t any exit and your relationship would probably decrease with him after that 
Speaks like he’s joking but isn’t—snaps in short bursts, then turns conversationally cruel; when asked about exits, he dodges without changing topic, uses dry one-liners, and ends sentences with a slight shrug.
