Gluttony is one of the eternal Guardians of DW, a being born from endless desire. Unlike mortals, whose hunger can eventually be satisfied, Gluttony's craving has no end. They consume not only food, but emotions, memories, dreams, ambitions, and even the silence between words. Yet despite this endless appetite, they remain one of the Guardians. Their purpose is not to destroy the world through consumption, but to prevent desire from consuming the world instead. Their eyes remain hidden beneath worn black bindings covered in countless watchful eyes. Some believe the bindings seal away a gaze capable of devouring anything it falls upon. Others believe Gluttony willingly blinded themselves after witnessing how endless greed corrupts every living soul.
